Poor quality
I've had two of these in the twin size, since 2012. The first one failed in 5 years, so they sent me a second one, it only lasted 2.5 years. This is with occasional washing, not daily. Would not recommend them at all if you have a bedwetter.

Great product
I received the Protect-a-bed basic smooth mattress protector in Queen size as part of a promotion and I love the softness of it. It's very different from other mattress protectors I've used before, I'm a person that sweats at night and this protector keeps me cool at night while still being very comfortable and it doesn't make any sounds like the thicker mattress protectors I've used in the past. I would definitely buy this again.

Sounds like plastic
I wanted to love this mattress cover so badly, a relative has one from the same company (Protect a Bed) that is great but this one was just awful! It was so hot I woke up stuck to the bed, and it was noisy like the plastic sheets on a hospital bed. Also when I washed and dried it per the directions the inside liner would stick to itself and make all these puckers that had to be stretched out and hopefully not tear. The only good thing to say is Hollander was very helpful with the return.

Great absorbance and easy to assemble!
I have another mattress pad protector I currently use, but when I switched it to the Protect-A-Bed Protector for the first time. I found it to be better! It was easy to assemble and the texture is smooth enough so that I don't feel it under the covers. The absorbance was also better than the old one I had, so now I don't have to worry about spilling water or when my kids accidentally wet the bed. It is a great product, FDA approved, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Doesn't work for diarrhea
I've had this mattress "protector" for almost five years. The fit and finish are great and it's fairly easy to put on the mattress, We care for an elderly person, who can't always make it in time to the bathroom. Unfortunately, when they have liquidy stools, the waterproof cover DOES NIT WORK! This has happened nearly every time there has been an incident. The funny thing is, we've poured a glass of tap water onto the cover and it juat beads up and does not soak through the protector. So yes, I would say this is waterproof, but to me, that means any liquid, exceptions of harsh chemicals, should not be able to penetrate this cover! I don't don't know if it's the length of time the fluid has been on the cover or or if it has to do with body weight pressing the liquid through the cover, but unfortunately, we end up putting another mattress pad under this one and a felt lines rubber baby changing pad against the mattress! I'm not sure if an upgraded version of this would be any better or not, but I doubt it, because all of the Protect-A-Bed mattress covers are supposedly water proof! What makes body fluids any different from tap water, except for the fact the tap water is clean. No one would buy this simply to protect their mattresses from tap water, as it's meant for those who have accidents. I almost returned it last year, but when I did the tsp water test, it worked! But, not for the messes, unfortunately! Very disappointed.

Great quality, great price, quiet, light and cool, easy to launder, fast shipping. I bought this protector for my 91 year old mom who just got a new memory foam queen bed. It is easy for her to put off and on because it is light and not bulky. Yet it does a great job keeping the mattress clean and dry. It is smooth and cool too. Can't beat the price. I have two of them for both of my king beds. Highly recommend. Happy customer!

I love this bed protection product. We recently purchased a new mattress but with 4 kids it's hard to not get it dirty quickly so this mattress protector is great. It's silent for the most part and keeps my bed cool. Sometimes it keeps it a little too cool but my husband loves that. It's kept koolaid and soda off of our new mattress and just got onto the protector. Would definitely recommend to a friend or family.

Best Mattress Pad Protector
Love this mattress pad protector. It's completely waterproof, well constructed, fits beautifully and does not cause the person sleeping on it to sweat. It is perfect for an older person with incontinence or a younger child with bed wetting issues. I purchased two twin size and recently purchased a queen size. It folds and stores easily. It is a superior quality mattress protector at a great price.

Best Waterproof Mattress Pad
Love this mattress pad. It's completely waterproof, fits perfectly, is quiet and doesn't make you sweat. I use it to protect my mattresses for both the young children and older relatives who visit my home. It washes and dries well. The quality is great and it folds down flat and small for easy storage. I have two twin size and just recently purchased a queen size.

Great product
I was not sure about the product at first because I received the basic one but let me tell you how amazing it is. It's very soft and comfortable. I was worried it might be slippery but it was not. It fit my bed comfortably. I've tried one other product before this one and the protector ripped very easily. I can tell this material will last a while.

Wasn't as expected
Wasn't as expected, I've had the protect-a-bed for years, have been through 3 of them. I ordered another and it is not made the same. The ones I had in the past have a cloth like top to it, which makes your sheets sort of stay in place. Also the pockets are smaller than the previous ones, the protector doesn't stay tight like the old ones.

Great for protecting the mattress
This is the second or third one of these I have had over the course of several years. It works great for protecting the mattress from spills, odors and so on. Does it last forever? No. Eventually you have to replace it, but mine have always lasted several years before I have needed a replacement.

Love this well made cover which doesnt add height
I love this cover! It lasts for years! washes up great and best of all it is thin but very well made so it does not add height and thickness to your mattress. I don't want to add any height or padding to my mattress. I just wish I could find it in stores as I once did!

I purchased a purple mattress and was given this by Mattress Firm. It is like sleeping on a trash bag. Noisy. I do not need a waterproof pad, need a cooling mattress cover. If you have a baby or incontinent issues then perhaps this is for you. If not, do not purchase

Protects bed from night accident.
My mother is a handicap. I've been using this protector for her bed. It protects her accidents. I can't imagine if I don't have. It saves her bed and my time. I also use mattress encasement for double protect. I'm very happy with both products.

I would buy this product again.

Its amazing
