Nope; esp the $ isn't warranted by the irritating noise.
My allergies are better due to a better seal & I have more time in preparing a bed by not having to wash/dry pillows every week but the material makes sleep disrupting noise which explains the low rating. W/o the latter, it would likely be a 4 or 5.

Love these. Placed on my king size pillows. Would recommend them to make them slightly smaller. They are just a little too big for my pillow. Like an inch to big so it can cause bunching instead of being taut. But other than that love it

I loved the allergy and bug bed proof case! It was easy to put on because it has a zipper enclosement. It's also very soft material too. It came in a nice white color that really brightens up a room. It's for a queen size pillows

Great Deal for Matress & Pillow Encasements!
Placed on my son's queen bed who's suffered from numerous allergies, indoor, environmental, foods, and animals. Having worked at an Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology practice for almost 2 years, we recommend pillow and mattress encasement as a 1st line defense immediately for dust mite allergy. I've continuously checked in with him and he states, "he's slept better than ever". Most importantly I've notice the morning nasal congestion every day for all of his life is gone!

Difficulty with preventing extra air in the case
It's difficult to get all the extra air out of the pillow cover went zipping it closed.

These pillow covers are sturdy in construction. I appreciate the zippers but wish the cases themselves were more fitted. I personally found the fabric to not be soft enough for my face so put another pillow case on top. But the large size made it cumbersome to do so. I tested the waterproof nature by spilling some water on it. I found it to be waterproof, rolling right off. Overall, a good protective pillowcase.

Very neat design
I was very pleased with the product and didn't have any prior knowledge about the purpose behind the proof pillow covers, but am now aware. I'm very likely to be purchasing more of these products so that every pillow in my house has one of these covers on them. The covers provide me with an extra layer of protection from those nasty little critters, some which you can't see with the naked eye.

Best product ever
I have been using protect a bed for all of my beds and pillows for years and years. I feel so much better sleeping on bedding protected at this level of protection and for the comfort these give (other brands feel like plastic). I use these on my rental home bedding as well since there are guests constantly coming and going and it keeps the bedding clean and safe. No other product would do!

Glad I tried these
I have used bed protectors but never though to use a Pillow Protector. The AllerZip Allergy, Dust Mite & Bed Bug Proof Pillow Covers are really nice. This is my first time trying the AllerZip brand, and I am going to get a bed protector for my toddlers bed. These protectors work well, and do not make noise or puff up too much when laying on them.

Good pillow case
As a person who suffers from really bad allergies and sensitive skin is very important to take good care of the products I use, this pillow encasement is made from a good material, I like the zip closure so it won't ever start to come off the pillow and it is waterproof (it was tested by a toddler), I am very pleased with this product.

Terrible product - Can't actually return
The pillow covers are a horrible plastic-like material and I've been trying to no avail for two weeks to return them as advertised as an option on the website. You have to call a 1-800 number that no one answers (ever)... leave a message that no one answers (ever)... or fill out a webform that is broken. What a scam. Don't do it!

Great Pillow Covers
I've never tried allergy preventive pillow or mattress covers before, but I have to say that these are amazing. I used to live with constant sinus allergies and would wake up in the middle of the night congested. However, after the first night using these pillow covers, I woke up refreshed and my sinuses were clear. Amazing!

Where has this product been all my life?!?!
All I've got to say is..wow!! This product works fantastic! My 7 year old spilled a cup of juice on my bed and thanks to this protector, it did not ruin my mattress! I really love that it has the Good Housekeeping seal of approval and it comes with a 5 year manufacturer warranty. Thank you again!

I will purchase this product for all of my pillows
I used these pillow covers on my pillows. I love how soft they are, you would never guess they are water proof. Pillow covers I have bought in the past were hard and uncomfortable. I can't think of anything I did not like about them. I was not aware of the Protect a Bed brand before.

I have always purchased Protect-a-bed pillow protectors but the zipper on one that I just got is very difficult to close. I didn't want to return it since I'm traveling and I never sleep in a strange bed without using a PAB protector.

Use on pillows Let most air out before I zip up. Comfortable to sleep on. However was purchased for it ability to deal with allergens dust mites etc . Does an excellent job thus far. No complaints from person who sleeps on pillow.

Traveling pillow
We were traveling for 2 weeks & sleeping in motels. I enjoyed having my own pillow along so greatly appreciated the fact that I could safeguard against bringing bed bugs back to my home. The pillowcases are soft & comfy!

Probably wouldn't buy again
The pillow cases seem to hold air which results in a long, steady hiss when you lay on it. Maybe that means the seal is good. The cases are also a very loud material which has been difficult to get used to in the night.

Too warm and too slippery to be useful
Pillow covers make pillows too warm. They are very slippery so that pillow cases slide off the pillows during the course of the night. Overall, not at all comfortable or useful.

I would not buy this version again
slippery material, holds in air because of waterproofing, like putting your head on a balloon. likely my mistake because of the waterproofing, not needed.
