Very Cold But Does Not Absorb Heat
I bought this from Mattress Firm and it's fake news. It's very cold to the touch but it does not absorb or dissipate any body heat. Body heat radiates back creating a hot spot on the skin. Do not waste your money on it. Being it's bedding they don't do returns.

I am second guessing my decision to buy this
I purchased this on 12/21, and figured I would give it plenty of time before reviewing it. Once I received it, I washed it per the instructions and after placing it on my mattress it felt exceptional. I loved the cooling feeling that I got from it. But that is where my good feelings about this product ended. I woke up 3 hours later covered in sweat, my blankets and sheets were wet from sweat. I am a realist, and in no way a small person, so I just assumed that maybe it was too many blankets for the night and that is what caused my problem. So the next night I used just the top sheet from my sheet set and no other blankets. Once again I awoke to being covered in sweat and wet sheets. This continued every night until last night when I removed this protector and placed my original cooling one (from Protect-A-Bed) back on my mattress. I did not wake in the middle of the night covered in sweat but instead woke up in the morning completely happy. I gave this product 2 stars because it did keep all the sweat it caused from getting thru to my mattress, but sadly that is all this product is good for.

Sleeps hot. Overpriced junk. Feels like sleeping on diapers.
It's unreal how slippery and hot this thing sleeps. Causes me to sweat, an issue I've never had while sleeping. It has been washed and it's so so so overpriced it's unbelievable.

Too slippery
I have tried all kinds of sheets, but this Artic Chill pad makes the sheets slide and bunch up. It was supposed to fit my tempur pedic mattress, but does not fit tightly. It makes my mattress feel too firm because of its surface design. I do not recommend purchasing this product!

I'm Looking Forward to Sleeping Cooler!
Always slept hot during the summer months, so when the waterproof membrane of my original Protect-A-Bed mattress pad finally started to deteriorate, was pleasantly surprised to find Therm-A-Sleep Snow Protector Cooling Mattress Pad. Felt cool to the touch immediately upon removal from its packaging! The pad is quality constructed and one can really feel the weight of the specialty fabric used to construct the pad. Waiting to see how it handles during Houston's summer weather! The only downside would be price, but if I can sleep cooler, then it will be worth it!

Not a Fan of this mattress protector
I didn't care for this at all. It makes my mattress feel too hard and it is so slippery that the sheets dont' stay on the bed.

Cool - literally!
I was excited when I received the mattress cover to try. Right away I opened the package and you could feel how cool the protector felt. Perfect for the person that likes it cool at night to sleep. I'm not exactly that person. I freeze most of the year, however this might have been better for me to test about 2 months ago when it was at its hottest in NY state. I can say this would be perfect for someone who sweats when they sleep as it's definitely waterproof. I think it's a great item just not great for me.

What's cooler than cool... ICE COLD!
Wow! I love my Protect a Bed Snow Maximum Cooling Mattress topper and protector!! This product truly lives up to the hype of keeping your bed icy cool and protected from accident. I am a "hot sleeper" and my old memory foam mattress pad was kinda keeping the heat in and I would either wake up and crank the ac down or get sweaty. Neither of these are really desirable, especially in humid gulf coast weather. I am SOLD ON THIS, I wonder how I ever slept without it. The accident protection is superb and performed well when my two year old ripped his diaper off and had a pee accident while napping in my bed. Mattress was dry and crisis adverted. There is no plastic feel to this product as opposed to other mattress protectors- just a silky smooth very cold fabric! Feels top quality! Make the investment in yourself- get this today you won't regret it!

I received the snow mattress protector in the size queen. I never knew I could love a mattress protector SO MUCH! If you love to keep cool at night like I do, this is the perfect product for you. Nice and smooth, and unbelievably cool. It is bright white in color and fits my queen size pillow top mattress perfectly. I used to find myself waking up at night sweating and warm but not anymore. There is literally only one downside to this mattress protector. Obviously I have it under my fitted sheet. The protector is so smooth that it makes it easy for the fitted sheet to slip off the mattress. You just have to make sure you put your fitted sheet over the protector perfectly, no loose corners and it should stay on for a while. I would definitely purchase and recommend this product to anyone. I've never felt another mattress protector that was so soft, blows competitors out of the water!

Excellent fit, excellent quality but too firm for my taste
Excellent quality, excellent fit on my extra deep mattress. It is slippery so I have to use elastic attachments on my fitted sheet to keep it on even after washing a few times with towels as other reviews stated. It is not hot and the waterproofing is quiet and keeps your bed dry. My only complaint is that it makes my bed more firm and I personally do not like that firmness.

Great product!
I'm tend to get very hot when I'm sleeping so I had been looking for a cooling pad. At first I noticed my sheets were very slippery on it but after washing and a few nights it fit snug. This mattress protector is very cool to the touch but does not stay cool all night. I also have 3 dogs that sleep on my bed and one had an accident and it did not leak through to my mattress.

Very cool literally
After reading other reviews before I got my mattress pad I washed it and I have had no problems with sheets. I love that it is nice and deep so it fits my mattress perfectly. As far as keeping me cool at night, it really does the trick! I tend to get Siri hot at night and no more with this mattress pad! I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants a cool Night sleep.

I can't brag enough!
This mattress protector is a lifesaver! It has really been put to the test with my toddler, and has protected my mattress every time! It is very easy to clean. It is so comfortable, and not noisy like other water-proof mattress protectors. It also sleeps very cool, and I have not had any issues getting too hot using this! I have recommended this to every mom I know!

I love sleeping on this mattress protector
I was given SNOW mattress protector for my honest review from Viewpoint sampling. I have never heard of this brand but I think it is wonderful. It is a quality product that keeps my bed so cool and I t is waterproof and a barrier for dust mites and other irritants! It comes with a 10 year warranty also. I highly recommend this mattress protector!!

I really love this bed protector. The feel of this bed protector is so soft and fluffy. Some of pros that this bed protectors offer are : waterproof , long warranty and soft surface. I was very glad that this bed protector it's machine washable at any temperature. This bed protector snug fit. It'll fit from corner to corner on my bed.

This is a great product and must try!
I have to say this mattress protector work great! Very cooling and it also repels water very well. I really needed this and was excited to try it. I am endlessly spilling onto my bed and was happy to have protection.It works so good and truly does protect the mattress. definitely recommend!

It fits queen size bed perfects
Ive used this protector for about a week. And i dont get hot in bed. Which usually bed protectors can trap heat and make it sweaty. The only bad thing is that the material is so sill the sheets slide off from movement in The bed. Maybe a flannel or cotton sheets would work best with this.

Soft comfortable and cooling
Honestly I have never tried a mattress pad protector like this before. The Snow Maximum Cooling Mattress Bed Protector is literally the best Bed Protector I have ever had. First it has a soft quilted pattern on top. When you place your hand on top of the Bed Protector you instantly feel a cooling effect. At first i was worried oh no is this going to make me freeze at night. No it does not. It's actually very soothing and makes me feel more comfortable while I sleep. My husband who is always hot and sweaty at night says that this Bed Protector kept a him cozy and comfy at night and he doesn't wake up with a hot back like usual. So we both recommend this mattress bed protector. A big plus is that its waterproof but it doest have that horrible plastic lining like other waterproof bed protectors that makes the bed uncomfortable, stiff, and hot. Compared to other brands that seem to hold unwanted heat this one is not like that and is a keeper. We got the size Queen and fits perfect on our queen bed. I'm looking into get a Full size for my daughter's bed.

Love the protector but it pilled badly!
This mattress cover is awesome!! Cools the bed down so nicely. Love that is waterproof as well!! However it pilled so badly it feels uncomfortable under our sheets. So very disappointed in it!! Too expensive for that too happen!!!

This cooling matress pad is so comfortable. When we put on the bed the pad is cool that everyone wnated to stay and sleep again even my cats they love it. Thank you for inventing this matress pad perfect for any season.

It's fine
This seems like a basic mattress pad. An expensive one. I don't think it provides cooler sleep-I just don't feel a difference from my basic Protect-a-Bed product. And the skirt on this one is not as snug.

My new favorite thing
This mattress pad is wonderful. I was skeptical, as I sleep very hot at night, and have tried other products in the past which have made no difference. This was a game changer. The first thing I noticed right away was how deep fitted it is. I have a pillowtop mattress which has been troublesome in the past with certain sheets, covers, etc... This protector allows for even a very deep mattress to have more than enough room. The next thing I noticed was that it wasn't overly noticeable. Meaning, it didn't take away from the comfort of my mattress. It was definitely an extra padding, but not uncomfortable. The cover is actually cool to the touch upon taking it out of the package. Not like a freezer pack, but it's definitely cool. I slept on it for approximately 1 have noticed a difference in my quality of sleep and the temperature at which I am during the night. Even in cold months, I prefer to have a cold room over a warm room. I enjoy adding extra blankets and this has made my sleep so enjoyable. I didn't even know they made these, and I couldn't be happier with how my nights are spent now. Highly recommended to anyone that is a hot sleeper and could use a colder nights sleep.
